Historic Manitou Springs, Inc., is an educational non-profit based in Manitou Springs, Colorado, at the foot of Pikes Peak which operates the Manitou Springs Heritage Center and was formed in 1997 as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit.
The mission of the Manitou Springs Public LIbrary is to enhance the community by providing for the informational, educational, and recreational reading needs of the citizens of Manitou Springs.
The swimming pool was built in 1971 with grants from the El Pomar Foundation. Over the years the pool has received many additions such as a hot tub, weight room and waterslide. They offer many programs for adults and children of all ages. Instructors are trained and/or certified as required to teach various classes. Lifeguards are certified in American Red Cross Lifeguarding, first aid and CPR.
St. Andrew's provides opportunities for people to seek meaning in life and become spiritually active in a Christian tradition that takes the Bible seriously in reasonable encounter, incorporates tradition in worship, respects and invites every person on their spiritual path. Feeding people all ways.
Happy Cats Haven takes in homeless Colorado cats & kittens and finds them new, fur-ever homes. They believe cats are valuable, lovable and trainable - not disposable. No healthy or treatable cat is euthanized, so they meet the definition of a no-kill org.
Concrete Couch's mission is to work with kids and community groups to create public art, to build community, and to create environments and experiences that humanize our world.
